Jawaher Al-Mannai is a visual artist who focuses on creating abstract paintings through experimenting with different materials, mediums and symbols. She aims to show Qatari women’s creativity reflecting on day-to-day social norms.
Jawaher Al-Mannai holds a bachelor’s degree in Art Education from Qatar University, 2006. She serves as a Visual Arts Advisor in the Ministry of Culture and Sports in Qatar. Her exhibition participations include al markhiya gallery (2019); Qatar Pavilion, Expo Beijing (2019); Building 22, Katara Cultural Village (2018); Qatar Pavilion, Expo Milano (2015); and QM Gallery Alriwaq (2012), among others. She is a member of Qatar Fine Arts Association, Souq Waqif Art Center, Youth Creativity Arts Center, and Visual Arts Center in Qatar.
