“Masking a surface with an alternative skin.” Repetitive processes and the regular reproduction of sculptural form are dominant factors in Alexandra Oddie’s art practice. The site-specific exhibition has been typical in finalising her project briefs in past project work and collaborations. She is constantly challenging scale to make a visual impression. She challenges all hierarchies when it comes to redesigning a surface area.
