Abir Zakzok is an interdisciplinary designer. Her work focuses on the relationship between the Arabic language and its speakers, exploring how design can carry the language beyond its apparent stereotypical aesthetic into a sophisticated, multilayered understanding of the language.
She attempts to uncover these behaviors and connections with the language by taking a critical design approach and utilizing interactive design methods. She holds an MFA in Design Studies from VCUarts Qatar.
