Join us in this playful workshop as we develop and practice illustration techniques into creating your own characters through fast-paced observation activities and photo references. The session is dynamic and reflective and aims to build skills for novice illustrators and invigorate practices for advanced illustrators.
Note: participants are asked to gather drawing tools from home such as 2B and 6B pencils, colored pencils, a Uniball pen, paper or sketchbook, and a photo of a person (or choosing a character image from the session).
Charlene Kasdorf has illustrated picture books for museums, universities, and publishing houses, in Canada, the UK, and Qatar. Charlene’s education includes a BFA, an MEd, and recently a Master’s in Museum and Gallery Practice.
