Somaia Dorzadeh is from Sistan and Baluchistan province of Iran and was born and raised in Qatar. She received her BA (Honors) in Art History in 2021 and her Master of Fine Arts in Design (MFA) in 2023, both from VCUarts Qatar.
Her work focuses on the Baloch community in Qatar, diversity, inclusivity, and unity.
