Get ready for a groundbreaking experience as we proudly present our first DIY (Do It Yourself) multidisciplinary audio & visual artist’s workshop gathering in the region! Uniting community through art, music, & innovation, this unique event is a celebration of creativity, innovation, and the vibrant local community interested in exploring the spectrum of music and visual art. Bringing together creativity, music and art, and cutting-edge techniques, this event promises to unite us all in a celebration of artistic exploration and local talent.

Join us for 3 days as we bring together local artists, musicians, and visionaries to celebrate the power of music and art to unite and inspire.

Note: Booking tickets is required to attend the workshops, while live performances and showcases are free to attend.

Thursday 23 May (3-7pm):

3:00 pm - MASTERING BEATS: DIVE INTO ANALOG Rhythm WORKFLOW WITH BÍDLEE:

Led by Bídlee, participants will unlock the full potential of the Analog Rhythm, delving into analog sound and innovative beat-making techniques and creating captivating rhythms.

5:00 pm - Modular Mastery: Exploring Eurorack Systems with Dale Hitchcock:

Through hands-on exploration, attendees will learn fundamental concepts and advanced techniques, unlocking the creative potential of Eurorack systems.

The workshop encourages experimentation and innovation, fostering a deeper understanding of sound design principles and creative expression.

6:00 pm - Arts Workshop with Amrei Jarosch:

This workshop gathers participants to explore various forms of artistic expression. Through interactive sessions, attendees unleash their creativity in painting, sculpture, drawing, and mixed media.

Friday 24 May (1-8pm):

1:00 pm- Unleash Your Creativity: An Ableton Live Workshop with Faraj:

In this hands-on experience led by Faraj, this workshop is aimed at helping participants explore the diverse possibilities of music production with Ableton Live. Whether beginners or experienced producers, participants emerge with enhanced skills and confidence to elevate their music production journey.

2:00 pm – Needle & Niche: Sampling with Vinyl Records Workshop by Bídlee:

Participants will delve into the techniques of selecting, manipulating, and integrating samples into their music productions, guided by Bídlee. By the end, participants gain a deeper understanding of vinyl sampling as an art form and are inspired to infuse their music with the timeless charm of analog sound.

3:00 pm - Fabric Designing Workshop with Katrina:

This workshop offers a hands-on exploration of textile artistry.

Participants will learn various techniques, including printing and dyeing, and are encouraged to experiment with materials and patterns.

4:00 pm – Looping on Wax: Vinyl Workshop with Sonic V:

Immerse yourself in the art of vinyl looping guided by Sonic V. Through hands-on practice, attendees learn beatmatching, scratching, and seamless loop creation using traditional turntables.

6:00 PM - Modular Harmonics: Bridging Analog & Digital with Bídlee:

A workshop that merges analog and digital synthesis using Eurorack modular synthesizers and Ableton Live CV tools.

Led by Bídlee, participants will explore patching techniques, modulation, and integration with Ableton Live.

7:00 pm- Symphony in Session: Matt's Workshop Recording Music with Orchestra:

This workshop offers a comprehensive exploration of recording music with orchestras. Led by Matt's expertise, participants learn orchestration principles, technical recording techniques, and gain hands-on experience in a simulated recording environment.

Saturday 25 May (1-7pm):

1:00 pm - ACOUSTIC WORKSHOP A JOURNEY THROUGH SOUNDSCAPES WITH MOHAMMED AASHIQUE:

This workshop offers participants an immersive exploration of acoustics guided by Mohammed Aashique.Through theoretical discussions and practical demonstrations, attendees learn about sound propagation, reflection, and treatment techniques.

2:00 PM - FABRIC EMBROIDRY WORKSHOP WITH KATRINA:

This workshop is a hands-on exploration of embroidery techniques guided by Katrina. Participants will learn various stitching methods and are encouraged to express their creativity through fabric embellishment.

3:00 PM - A JOURNEY THROUGH OCTATRACK WORKFLOW WORKSHOP WITH BÍDLEE:

This workshop is an immersive experience focused on exploring the capabilities of the Octatrack. Led by Bídlee, participants will learn how to manipulate samples, create loops, arrange tracks, and apply effects using this versatile instrument.

6:00 PM - HANDCRAFTING BOXES WITH AMREI JAROSCH:

This workshop led by Amrei Jarosch, offers participants an opportunity to explore the art of making handmade boxes.

Throughout the workshop, attendees learn various techniques for designing and constructing unique boxes using different materials and tools.
