Using digital processes and laser engraving combined with manual processes of drawing and printing, we will also explore other printing surfaces such as plaster during the workshop.
You will leave with a series of experimental and visually striking art prints that you can take home with you!
Natalia Mejía is a visual artist from Columbia whose work explores the notions of territory, repetition, trace and time through correspondences between astronomy, cartography and archaeology. She is a current artist in residence at Fire Station.
Note: Participants should bring a laptop with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop downloaded to participate in this workshop.
