Noora Al Hardan is a Qatari multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersections of place, memory, and perception. Drawing inspiration from local, architectural, and abandoned spaces, her practice reinterprets overlooked locations to reveal traces of human presence. Her experience as a former Fire Station resident played a significant role in shaping her artistic practice. The residency provided an inspiring environment that deeply influenced her development. Noora’s work has been exhibited both locally and internationally, including Watering the Desert at the Yuz Museum in Shanghai (2023–24), the 25th Anniversary Alumni VCUQ Exhibition at Mathaf (2023). Earlier exhibitions include Abstraction: Subverting Reality at the Fire Station in Doha and Solo Exhibition Between Memory and Space at Katara. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (BFA in Painting and Printmaking), Noora continues to expand her practice through material experimentation and spatial inquiry.
