The workshop is an introduction to creative coding and computational art. The participants will be given the opportunity to explore and understand the structure of code, tweak existing codes, and create and generate different forms.
You will learn about:
- The history of computational art and get introduced to different artists working in the medium and its potential.
- Basic structural understanding of setting up code that can generate emergent forms.
- Basic knowledge in how to go through existing creative code and edit/tweak to play around with the generated results.
Participants are required to bring their personal laptops to this workshop.
