Cyanotype is a photographic printing technique used by photographers to print their analogue films or digital photographs, producing a cyan-blue print. This workshop will introduce the participants to the Cyanotype process, an overview of its history, and a demonstration of the technique.
Mashael Al Hejazi is a photographer working with alternative processes in developing film and printing photography. She researches local heritage to reflect the past in the current digital world. Through capturing old Doha neighborhoods, Al Hejazi aims to preserve memories for future generations. She is in residence at the Fire Station, 2019-20.
